We complete the face to face guitar lessons on a 121 basis. They are done onsite in an environment designed to be relaxed and that sets you at ease.
The format of the lessons are very informal. In terms of structure we will run through the music you would have been given in your previous lesson, ensuring you are holding the chords properly, and that you are strumming in time, as well as a number of other factors before moving to a new piece of music.
In terms of pace and expectations we all lead busy lives, so some weeks you will have practised more than others. Whatever the amount you have practised we will work with you to make you an even better player.
As useful as face to face lessons can be, for some they are not practical. This can be for many reasons such as physical location, or working hours, or travel times, or it can be for more personal reasons such as wanting to learn in the comfort of their own home.
If you fall into this category then learning via video call could be the answer. If you have a good internet connection and a decent camera, then why not try learning this way.
We would do a test call first to check the connection speed.
